SOCA-Cville Scores Second Place in Skyline Premier Division
The Skyline Club Soccer League recently completed the fall season proceedings with close races for the overall championship at both the Premier and Classic levels.
Final matches were played just prior to Thanksgiving and completed results tabulations were presented at the fall season general meeting in early December.
At the Premier level, SOCA-Charlottesville was edged out of the overall club title by a single point, with Valley AFC claiming top spot on 122 points, to Charlottesville’s 121. Third place in the overall Premier standings went to SOCA-Augusta with 44 points.
At the Classic level SOCA-Charlottesville finished fourth overall, with 70 points, trailing the leaders, FYSA, who accumulated 90 points.
The following SOCA-Charlottesville teams claimed first, or a share of first, in their division: U14 Boys Premier, U12 Girls Premier, U14 Girls Premier, U16 Girls Premier Blue, U17 Girls Premier Blue, U14 Boys Classic, U15 Boys Classic Blue, and U12 Girls Classic.
