SOCA U11 and U12 Travel teams found success over the Memorial Day weekend in tournaments hosted in Virginia.  All told SOCA’s 13 teams in the young age groups amassed 30 wins against only 3 ties and 13 losses.

SOCA Blue teams traveled to northern Virginia and played in the Cannon Cup while the SOCA White, Red and Gold teams ventured to the Williamsburg Invitational.  All four of the Blue teams advanced to the final, with the U11 Boys and U12 Girls each winning their division title, while the U11 Girls and U12 Boys finished in the second spot.  Find full Cannon Cup results here: http://www.gotsport.com/events/?eventid=85682

In Williamsburg, the U12 Girls Red team under the leadership of Coach Matt Carroll, won their division in dramatic fashion, while the U11 Girls White squad claimed runner-up placement in their bracket.  Full tournament results can be found here:  https://events.gotsport.com/events/default.aspx?eventid=84550

The holiday tournament event is the final action of the spring season for most teams.  Summer provides rest and preparation for the coming fall season, when the excitement resumes.
